About Langdon Prairie Health

Langdon Prairie staffA new path in healthcare is on the horizon

At Langdon Prairie Health, we’re proud to be part of this community since 1939. We remain a strong, independent organization that is centered around the high-quality, compassionate care you’ve come to trust.

Our dedicated staff not only works here – we live here. It’s our mission to provide people with the best care, facilities, and technology we can, so our friends, families and neighbors don’t have to travel to get the care they need.

We’re proud to be nationally recognized as one of America’s best rural hospitals. At our 20-bed facility located in Langdon, we provide:

  • 24-hour emergency services
  • Comprehensive laboratory services
  • General inpatient services
  • Intensive and cardiac care units
  • Pediatric care
  • Swing bed services
  • Respite care

Langdon Prairie Health also offers a wide range of important outpatient services, including:

  • Rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy
  • Skin procedures
  • Wound care
  • Pain management

In addition to the hospital, something else to know about Langdon Prairie Health is that we also operate outpatient clinics in Langdon and Walhalla. Our family practice clinics provide everything you’d expect from a larger facility, including screenings, well-child visits, yearly physicals, and great provider-patient relationships to help people stay on top of their health.

Langdon Prairie Health is a member of the North Dakota Healthcare Association (NDHA), American Hospital Association (AHA), North Region Health Alliance (NRHA), and Langdon Chamber of Commerce.
