Ambulance Services

The ambulance services at Langdon Prairie Health provide high-quality acute care to all patients, improve overall public health through injury control and disease prevention programs, participate as a full partner in disease surveillance, and are prepared to address new community needs of all types.

Our primary goal is to get patients stabilized to provide ambulance transfers and connect the patient to the right care. We respond to 9-1-1 calls 24/7. We perform CPR and other necessary treatment in critical situations to help stabilize the patient.

Serving our patients means having the right equipment, including a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) to assess for cardiac disease. When it is determined that a patient may be experiencing a potential heart attack, emergency personnel will use the ECG.

We provide training for EMT personnel as well as first responder classes. To register for classes, call 701-256-6136.

The Emergency Room at Langdon Prairie Health is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our emergency department is certified as a Level V trauma center, which means LPH provides initial evaluation, stabilization and diagnostic capabilities and prepares patients for transfer to higher levels of care.

Our caring team has the capability of treating, stabilizing, and/or transferring any emergency medical situation that comes through our doors. Additionally, laboratory and medical imaging are always available.

If you need emergency care, please call 9-1-1.
